This is a two-stage reflection on the concept of love: flirting and relationships. It poses open questions through images, contradictions, and sarcasm. It's an attempt to depict what I observe in contemporary society, while consciously avoiding judgment. I use elements from the 'love imaginary,' but distort them by incorporating items that don't typically appear in traditional mass media or advertising representations—such as dancing, but not by 'young and beautiful' people; a bed, but not a sexy motel bed—rather, a hospital bed, etc.

This photo essay draws inspiration from works that provoke discussions about our roles in society and how we represent ourselves through images, like Jo Spence's Family Album. I also introduce a touch of fantasy in the correlation of images, informed by ideas from the concept of 'simulation vs. the principle of reality' as described by philosopher Jean Baudrillard in his research.
